A great opportunity to join a major UK energy provider. This company is a key player in the UK’s energy transition, focused on low-carbon electricity and market innovation. The team supports energy trading, flexibility services, and commercial optimisation - working at the intersection of markets, technology, and sustainability. This role is ideal for a well-rounded communications professional experienced in content, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop LinkedIn posts, technical blogs, and internal articles that promote the team's insights, achievements, and thought leadership.
  • Podcast Support: Edit and promote a bi-weekly podcast, collaborating with internal teams for content and distribution.
  • Website & Digital Updates: Maintain the team's-related web content, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • PR & Media: Draft press releases and coordinate with PR teams and media partners on placements and messaging.
  • Event Support: Help plan and deliver key customer events - including logistics, communications, and post-event reporting.
  • Internal Comms: Produce monthly internal updates to keep the wider organisation informed and aligned.
  • Marketing Operations: Support PO management, budget tracking, and reporting processes.
  • Reporting & Insights: Contribute to comms performance reporting, providing data and insight on reach and impact.
  • Campaigns & Awards: Support ad hoc campaigns and industry award submissions.

Ideal Profile:

You have strong written and verbal communication skills, a proactive mindset, and experience working in complex or technical industries. A background in B2B communications, content marketing, or energy is a plus.
