Make your mark in Marketing & Communications

The Marketing & Communications team contributes to shaping AIG's corporate reputation, global brand, and valuation in the marketplace and supporting AIG’s businesses to help strategically position them for continued growth and profitability. Our multi-disciplinary team acts as an in-house “agency” – deploying high-quality external and internal campaigns and events that inspire, inform, and engage our colleagues, clients, partners, and other stakeholders.

  2. Lead the creation of multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned with AIG’s objectives and business goals across the UK franchise (digital, social media, email, events, and traditional media) and work with key stakeholders on the execution of the plans.
  3. Identify relevant industry awards and coordinate the development of compelling submissions that present a cohesive story to showcase AIG’s achievements and leadership.
  4. Ensure campaigns are data-driven and aligned with audience insights to maximize ROI.
  5. Drive digital transformation initiatives, including website optimisation, social media strategy, and content marketing.
  6. Oversee analytics to continuously refine and improve digital marketing strategies.
  7. Oversee the integration of brand compliant messaging and visual identity for sponsored events and related campaigns.
  8. Establish brand consistency across all marketing communication channels.
  9. Oversee the creation of compelling content for marketing materials, case studies, and knowledge leadership pieces.
  10. Ensure content resonates with target audiences and adheres to brand guidelines.
  11. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless activation of marketing communications initiatives.
  12. Manage relationships with creative, media, PR, and digital agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely execution.

What you’ll need to succeed

  1. Business, Marketing and/or Communications qualification.
  2. Significant experience in marketing communications, preferably within financial services, insurance, or a B2B environment.
  3. Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels with specialist skills in digital marketing, including SEM, social media strategy, content creation, and analytics.
  4. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Strong experience managing agencies and external partners to deliver best-in-class marketing initiatives.
  6. Track record of success in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  7. Demonstrates sound judgement with the ability to instil trust and deliver desired results.
  8. Effectively works within a matrix structure with multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams.
