Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Marketing and Communications Officer for the Moving Rotherham initiative based at The Spectrum, Rotherham. The role is full-time, 18-month fixed term, with a salary of £31,063 - £32,094 (FTE).

You will design, deliver and evaluate innovative marketing strategies to communicate project impact, grow audiences and encourage active participation across diverse communities in Rotherham. Evening or weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Strategy & Brand Management: Devising and monitoring campaign strategies and individual project plans within defined budgets.
• Digital Communications & Content Creation: Managing and updating the Moving Rotherham website and digital platforms; Planning and creating engaging social media content across platforms.
• Media Relations & Event Promotion: Serving as the key point of contact for media enquiries; Creating and implementing communications for events, festivals, and roadshows.
