About the role:

As a Marketing Communications & Events Executive, you’ll support brand communications and growth for leading skincare brands and devices across the UK and Ireland, including Medik8 Professional, Obagi Medical, and Observ. You’ll help deliver omnichannel campaigns, manage creative assets, coordinate events, support community engagement, and handle day-to-day marketing operations.
This role is ideal for a proactive, highly organised individual with a passion for skincare and aesthetics, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to learn and grow within the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Marketing Communications & Events Manager in planning, organising, and delivering a range of B2B, B2C, and internal events, including trade shows, conferences, seminars, press events, and influencer activations.
  • Manage smaller-scale events independently, with strategic oversight.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, secure venues, and oversee logistics to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Prepare and distribute key event documentation such as run-of-show schedules, health and safety plans, and contracts.
  • Support influencer outreach initiatives, including coordinating gift send-outs and managing product shipments.
  • Oversee logistics for influencer and PR campaign stock dispatches, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Engage with online communities by responding to direct messages, reposting influencer content, and capturing brand-aligned social media assets.
  • Contribute to Healthxchange’s social media and advocacy strategy, with a focus on community engagement and audience growth.
  • Assist with monthly reporting on PR and influencer performance.
  • Brief creative teams and manage asset development to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, including email campaigns, direct mailers, branded merchandise, and printed collateral.
  • Maintain agency and internal SharePoint sites, ensuring materials are current and easily accessible.
  • Prepare professional decks and presentations for both internal and external use.
  • Manage and maintain the marketing storage area and event inventory.
  • Coordinate stock dispatches, monitor inventory levels, and process order requests to ensure materials are available when required.
  • Provide general administrative support, including document management, task updates, and ad hoc assistance.

Requirements:

  • Graduate with 1–2 years’ marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • Proactive self-starter with a collaborative mindset
  • Copywriting experience
