This is a Marketing Executive level role responsible for supporting business communications, in print and electronically, for internal and external users to position company in the market and maintain product and service awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides input and support for business-specific marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Managing individual campaigns through Salesforce and Pardot including reporting on pre-agreed metrics.
  • Develops, produces, co-ordinates and distributes business communication pieces such as marketing materials, newsletters, surveys, new product launches, pitches/tender responses.
  • Support team as appropriate and vendor resources in the development and delivery of marketing materials, such as marketing collateral and sales tools, social media content and communications that assist underwriters and distributors in the sale of products and services to its target markets.
  • Collaborates with lines of business to define marketing and business communications needs and solutions.
  • Responsible for writing internal communications as well as developing thought leadership blogs and content with the support of marketing managers.
  • Internal and external event management.
  • Responsible for managing team and corporate intranet pages.
  • Responsible for internal resources to ensure marketing information is up-to-date and accurate on all corporate communications operational platforms.
  • Ensures branding guidelines are adhered to across all marketing and communications materials, tools and platforms.
  • Maintains and updates marketing, sales and co-branding content on websites, adding, deleting, and editing links, as necessary.
  • Ensures that marketing and communications comply with legal standards and conform to corporate guidelines.
  • Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and ensure, at a level appropriate to the position, that appropriate measures are in place to ensure this compliance.
  • May need to perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Strong presentation, writing and editing skills.
  • Effective knowledge of CRM, website management, e-marketing valued but not essential.
  • Ability to translate technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise prose appropriate for various targeted audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry valued but not essential.
