Job summary

British Engines' Rotary Power unit is seeking a Marketing and Communications Assistant to coordinate campaigns, content and digital activity under the Head of Marketing. You will work with Sales, Commercial and Engineering to support campaigns and messaging.

You will create web and social content, prepare brochures and sales literature, manage WordPress, and help plan events. A proactive, well-organised candidate with good writing skills and basic Adobe/SEO knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Marketing, communications or admin experience with strong written and verbal skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Office Suite and PowerPoint.
• Interest or introductory experience in digital marketing, SEO and social media.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign or Photoshop.
• Well organised with ability to manage tasks and priorities.
• Collaborative and open to feedback to improve work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver marketing campaigns and activity aligned with business priorities.
• Act as the main marketing contact for the business unit and support sales.
• Create and adapt content for websites, social media, and customer communications.
• Develop brochures, presentations and other sales literature.
• Manage WordPress content, schedule social media activity.
• Coordinate PR stories, news items and internal communications.
• Support internal events, trade shows and customer-facing activity.
• Use Adobe design tools and coordinate print production when needed.
• Keep organised marketing files and share information with colleagues.
