CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed-term, Full-time (3 months)
LOCATION: Broadcasting House, London
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £25,400 - £30,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The BBC Proms is the biggest classical music festival in the world. We run over 100 live events over 2 months in the summer at the Royal Albert Hall in London and venues around the UK. Nearly everything we do is broadcast across BBC Radio, TV and online. We are a creative, innovative festival that connects with audiences around the UK and across the globe. You would be part of a dynamic team that looks after Live Events, Marketing, Learning, Communications, Publications and Business.

We’re looking for a dedicated and highly organised individual to support the Communications and Marketing teams for BBC Proms. In this exciting role, you’ll be at the heart of the action—managing press ticket allocations, collecting and collating all the key press cuttings, monitoring inbox enquiries, and assisting with digital content creation and syndication. You’ll also provide essential administrative support to keep everything running smoothly. With your sharp administrative skills, you’ll be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries, ensuring seamless coordination and project support.
