Overview

Location: Based at Head office in Sevenoaks, with ability to travel to on-site meetings to hotels within the collection as required. We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Communications & Engagement Manager to join Hand Picked Hotels on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Responsibilities
  • Central Marketing Communications: deliver seasonal and F&B campaigns, manage branded materials (menus, brochures, templates), work with our Digital Team to keep web content fresh, and ensure hotels have the assets they need.
  • Engagement & Events Marketing: support weddings, conferences, and divisional events with targeted campaigns and local activations that drive awareness and bookings.
  • liaise daily with hotel GMs, Sales & Revenue teams, central functions, and external partners (designers, copywriters, production) to ensure everything lands on time, on brand, and with impact.
Qualifications
  • Current Marketing communications experience, ideally in hospitality, leisure, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confident working with external suppliers (designers, copywriters, production) to deliver assets.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing channels, including email, websites, and social.
  • Excellent attention to detail (copy, design, brand standards).
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders (hotel GMs, central functions).
  • Desirable: Experience in events or engagement marketing.
  • Knowledge of CMS/web content management.
  • Experience in multi-site or luxury brand environments.
