Job description

As a Marketing Co-ordinator, you will work with the Marketing Team to implement the overall company's marketing strategy. Marketing is extremely important to our company's success, so working with the Head of Marketing and Ecommerce, as well as our experienced Marketers, your role will play a crucial role in achieving our business goals and objectives.

We are expecting you to have experience and a big passion for marketing!

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
  1. Exhibitions and Events: Coordinate the event organising process from concept to delivery for tradeshows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events, sourcing merchandise, and liaising closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders.
  2. POS: Work with members of the Sales team attending customer meetings and assisting with marketing support and merchandising activity. Learn about our customers, their needs, and how we can help them through our point of sale and customer support marketing. Focus on how we present ourselves in store or in showrooms.
  3. PR: Collaborate with the press agency to grow brand coverage in the OEM and DIST markets.
  4. Literature: Generate ideas, produce creative briefs, and provide copy for supporting literature such as brochures, flyers, and sales information for internal stakeholders or external agencies.
  5. Product Launches: Work with the Product Management team and Marketing Managers to deliver launch packs and marketing collateral, including content writing and support with artwork layouts.
  6. Sales Support: Provide content and imagery for marketing materials, managing individual customer requirements, literature, data sheets, and other marketing materials across traditional and digital channels, including online sales platforms.
  7. Social Media: Support content creation, ideas, and campaigns for our social media channels.
  8. Internal Branding: Assist the Head of Marketing and Marketing Managers with internal branding, communications, and staff engagement initiatives.
  9. Marketing Plans: Support in creating and managing marketing plans with the Marketing Managers for OEM and Distribution, including gathering market intelligence, idea generation, and executing planned activities.
  10. Annual Calendar: Coordinate an annual calendar of activities to ensure alignment across the marketing team.
Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in Marketing communications.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities, time management, and multi-tasking.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Product, Technical, Warehouse, and Quality.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and adaptability with different personalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including content writing and presentation skills.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to work at pace and under pressure.
  • Stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
  • Experience with social media platforms and content production.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK for events.
