Summary

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the Campaign Manager is pivotal in the development of national marketing campaigns, strategic projects and tactical activities that enable Papa Johns to stand out in a competitive marketplace and drive incremental revenue. Working closely with the National Marketing Manager, managing our agency partners and collaborating cross-functionally with teams across the business, they’ll drive the national agenda to drive key brand metrics and achieve UK sales growth in line with strategic objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support the delivery of the brand strategy by briefing and managing agencies to develop national marketing collateral, digital content and advertising materials. Ensure that campaign briefs are rooted in customer, competitor and commercial insights.

Responsible for coordinating the annual marketing calendar, working in collaboration with the PR, CRM, local & partnership functions, and in accordance with the marketing strategy.

Lead cross-functional teams in the deployment of through-the-line marketing activities that differentiate the brand, drive brand awareness, acquisition and incremental sales growth.

Ensure all campaigns have clear objectives/KPIs and develop campaign strategy that is focused on delivering against this.

Assist in the development of insight-driven all-agency briefing documents and work with key stakeholders and delivery partners to manage creative development, sign-off and execution of all campaign assets to a high standard, on time and on budget.

Input into media plans and targeting, with a particular focus on digital channels, working collaboratively with our media agency and digital team to efficiently and effectively reach our target audience.

Work collaboratively with our international team on Global product launches to optimize our creative approach, preserving budget where appropriate and delivering scalable creative solutions.

Work closely with the National Marketing Manager to input into and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring all communications and marketing materials adhere to these.

Champion a test & learn approach within all campaigns, measuring the direct impact of creative and media tactics to inform future activity and drive performance optimization.

Maintain awareness of campaign performance to identify opportunities to optimize or course correct throughout.

Display strong commercial acumen, able to contextualize the commercial/brand impact of running activity and prioritize accordingly.

Lead post-campaign PCAs and ensure that these are both holistic and action-oriented.

Improve street-level visibility of national campaigns and messages with a focus on in-store POS across physical and digital formats. Work with the LSM team to ensure that national campaigns have “bolt-on” upweights that franchisees can activate locally.

Coordinate weekly franchisee communications and weekly sales reports, ensuring timely and accurate updates from the marketing team ahead of circulation to key stakeholders.

Manage campaign proposition briefing and alignment across all necessary teams, updating all systems as appropriate.

At Papa Johns you'll enjoy a competitive salary, contributory pension, dental cover, £20 Papa Johns monthly vouchers, and a bonus scheme. Additionally, you'll have access to an employee discount programme that includes shopping, gym memberships, holidays, and much more!
