Purpose of Role

The Marketing Associate Italy role sits within Man Group’s Global Channel team and reports to the Marketing Strategist for Italy. It is a hybrid role combining marketing, client, and investment services. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and gain broad experience within the Asset Management sector. It is a key role in executing our regional marketing strategy in the Italian market.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the execution of the channel marketing strategy to position and promote the firm’s reputation, branding, investment capabilities, and products in Italy, mainly across the wealth channel.
  2. Collaborate extensively with the Italian sales team to gather insights and support their implementation of regional marketing strategies, including working on Italian language materials, preparing presentations for client events, and supporting special projects.
  3. Assist in running and promoting webinars.
  4. Maintain and update Italian language content on the local website.
  5. Manage the maintenance and update of Italian marketing materials.
  6. Deliver email campaigns (organic and paid).
  7. Support client events in collaboration with the sales team and assist with paid amplification activities across regions.
  8. Support Italian channel social media and paid amplification activities.
  9. Assist with broader EMEA channel support.
  10. Perform team and office administrative tasks.
Technical Competencies

The role is hands-on, multidisciplinary, and dynamic. The candidate will work closely with colleagues in Sales, Relationship Management, Client Services, Investment Management, and the global marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Some experience in institutional and/or wealth marketing or sales support within the investment management industry.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including multi-tasking, responsiveness, and managing changing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interact professionally with creative teams, sales executives, internal partners, and external vendors.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity; seek ways to improve marketing strategies.
  • Passion for working in a creative and collaborative environment.
  • A general understanding of the marketplace.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
