Department Description

The Marketing & Communications team is part of the wider commercial function. We are evolving towards digital media and channel marketing to better connect with our customers, intermediaries, and prospects. The team is based at HQ in Cardiff Bay and collaborates with offices across the UK and Ireland.

Job Description

As a Marketing Assistant, you will support content creation and delivery across various media platforms, including point of sale, internal and external communications, direct marketing, social media, and our website. You will also assist with event planning.

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to support the content marketing strategy aligned with product and commercial goals, taking ownership of key deliverables. Daily tasks include:

• Creating social media visuals (polls, videos, carousels)
• Drafting copy for social media and communications
• Designing posters, banners, and brochures
• Managing CRM for emails, data, and landing pages
• Assisting with events, creating invites, coordinating, and stakeholder management
• Reporting on marketing performance quarterly
• Designing sales materials (PowerPoint templates)
• Managing stock, sourcing suppliers
• Managing brand ambassador campaigns via Haiilo

Full training will be provided. We seek candidates with attention to detail, interest in digital marketing, and creativity.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent communicator, confident working with external agencies and stakeholders
• Team player, quick learner, good at prioritizing and time management
• Creative, able to generate engaging content ideas
• Experience with editing software or willingness to learn (desirable)

Other Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in marketing, communications, or a creative discipline
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Competent in Canva
