Job summary

Mums Can Do in Watford is seeking a hands-on, creative social media assistant to run and grow our presence across Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. This is a doing role focused on content creation and engagement, not strategy.

Ideal candidates are students or recent grads who can film or coordinate shoots, post regularly (4–5 times weekly), reply to comments, and help grow our community. Hybrid, part-time 10–20 hours per week, with travel to Watford for content grabs.

• Post 4–5 times per week on Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn.

• Grow and develop the brand’s database through audience engagement strategies.
• Understand what makes content engaging.
• Be creative, proactive, and quick to execute.

We share real stories, provide support, and create opportunities for mums to move forward - including flexible work and income pathways.

We’re now looking for someone hands-on to help grow the brand and build a real community.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on, creative person (ideally a student or recent grad) to run and grow our social media.

This is a doing role, not strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Post 4–5 times per week (Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn)
• Create and edit short-form videos (Reels/TikToks)
• Improve existing content (especially “Super Mum” videos)
• Reply to comments & DMs
• Suggest and test new content ideasGrow and develop the brand’s database through audience engagement strategies
• Understand what makes content engaging
• Are creative, proactive, and quick to execute
• Are comfortable filming or working with video
• Use social media regularly and “get” it
