Marketing Assistant

We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our growing team at Charles & Dean – one of the UK’s leading finance brokerages.

As Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of dynamic marketing campaigns and initiatives across the business. From digital content to supporting the delivery of various events throughout the year, this is a varied and evolving role with genuine opportunity for progression. You’ll work closely with an experienced marketing team and other departments within the business, supporting the execution of the marketing objectives and strategy.

This is a great opportunity for someone with early experience in a marketing role who’s ready to take the next step and grow in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.

About You:

You’re enthusiastic, organised, and ready to roll your sleeves up. You’ve had some experience working within a marketing team – either in a permanent or graduate-level role – and are keen to deepen your knowledge across digital, content, email marketing and design.

You have a creative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. You’re comfortable with tools like Canva or Mailchimp, and you love the idea of seeing the real impact of your work on a growing brand.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing effective marketing activities aligned with the marketing strategy.
• Developing core content with the content creator to articulate product value consistently across channels.
• Delivering regular marketing metrics reports with actionable insights.
• Ensuring all marketing assets and communications comply with FCA and GDPR regulations, working closely with stakeholders.

Essential skills and experience:

• Previous demonstrable experience in a marketing environment (permanent or graduate role).
• Hands-on knowledge of social media, graphic design, and general marketing duties.
• Strong copywriting skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
• Creative and collaborative mindset.

Desirable skills:

• Experience using Canva, Mailchimp, and other marketing tools.
