Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 5:30 pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Are you a creative thinker with a flair for communication and an eye for detail? Pertemps is thrilled to be working with our client to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join their dynamic team in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a fast-paced, exciting environment, supporting all things in-store communications for one of the South West’s fastest-growing retailers.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Working closely with the Brand & Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful in-store communications and supporting ambitious store opening programmes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating store nominations and ensuring relevant parties are kept informed.
• Managing the POS (Point of Sale) portal, ensuring assets are accurate and up to date.
• Generating creative store offers and communicating them to the right people.
• Collaborating with the design team to create eye-catching campaigns and POS materials.
• Supporting the rollout of new store opening POS packs.
• Liaising with printers to ensure timely delivery of store assets and meeting critical deadlines.
• Partnering with the social and PR team to bring marketing campaigns to life.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a self-motivated, organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need:

Essential Skills:

• Experience working in a fast-moving environment, delivering on time and on budget.
• The ability to analyse data and adapt activities based on results.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects with various stakeholders simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a natural flair for writing and an eye for detail.
• The ability to build effective partnerships and communicate with confidence.

Desirable Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar Marketing role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft software packages.
• Experience creating consumer-facing marketing literature.
• A degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
