Job description

Role Overview
As a Marketing Assistant with us, you will work alongside the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing, playing an integral role in shaping and executing our marketing strategies.

This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to create and optimise landing pages and email campaigns in HubSpot, applying UI/UX design principles and conducting A/B testing to enhance campaign effectiveness. You will also build, schedule, and monitor email campaigns using tools like HubSpot and Spotler while assisting with maintaining and updating the email subscriber database.

You will be responsible for tracking key marketing performance metrics and providing valuable insights and recommendations for ongoing campaigns. Collaborating with the Content Manager, you’ll help develop engaging visuals, videos, and animations that resonate with our target audience.

Additionally, you’ll support the Communications team by developing sales collateral and presentations, and assist in website content updates to improve SEO performance. You’ll also play a part in the organisation and delivery of major projects and events.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Marketing Qualification (e.g., CIM or IDM) or completion of a Marketing Internship/Apprenticeship
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Naturally enthusiastic, with a positive and inspiring attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
• Passion for marketing and design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Desirable:
• Knowledge of digital marketing
• Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite
• Familiarity with marketing software like HubSpot (emails, landing pages) and Spotler (email)
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles for clean, mobile-responsive layouts
• Basic technical skills in HTML or HubL (HubSpot Markup Language) for customisation
