V7 Recruitment is hiring a Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in the vibrant Northern Quarter of Manchester. This entry-level marketing role is perfect for a recent school leaver or marketing graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, employer branding, and creative campaigns.
Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you’ll help craft engaging job ads, design scroll-stopping content, manage our social channels, and support brand campaigns that drive business growth and attract top talent. If you’re creative, curious, and excited to learn – we’d love to hear from you.
This is a hybrid role – working from our city centre office 4 days a week and working from home on Wednesdays.
What Your Role Will Include:
Social Media Management
- Develop and maintain monthly content calendars across all key platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, ensuring content aligns with brand strategy and business goals.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on engagement metrics to optimise content performance and grow audience reach.
- Stay informed on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, incorporating them into strategy where relevant.
Graphic Design Support
- Design engaging job advert graphics tailored for LinkedIn, in collaboration with recruitment consultants.
- Provide support in the upkeep of various marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Develop email banners and visual assets that are consistent with brand guidelines and enhance digital communications.
Content Creation
- Write and publish weekly industry blog posts for the company website, showcasing thought leadership and relevant insights, whilst ensuring they are optimised for Search engines.
- Collaborate with consultants to gather industry-specific knowledge, turning their expertise into compelling content.
- Produce monthly LinkedIn articles, positioning the business as a knowledgeable and trusted voice in the sector.
- Produce and edit videos to be used on social media and website to showcase brand personality.

Role Requirements:
- Educated to A-level (or equivalent) and achieved at least a grade 4/C in GCSE English and maths
- Interest in marketing, branding, and digital communication.
- Experience using Canva desirable.
- Willing to take initiative, ask questions, and work collaboratively.
- Enthusiastic, organised, and open to feedback and learning
- Any previous experience (e.g. coursework, part-time work, or personal projects) involving marketing, design, or communication is a bonus but not essential.
