We are now looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Team.

Job Description

Working closely with other members of the Marketing Department, the Marketing Assistant will be involved in a variety of marketing activities including content writing for internal and external publications, PR activities, creation of sales literature, online marketing, design support, market research and event organisation, with the aim to develop brand awareness and brand differentiation worldwide.

Person Specification

In addition to a relevant marketing related qualification and/or experience in a content writing role, the successful candidate will also have the following:

Essential Skills:
  1. Excellent writing skills - experience in writing press releases, newsletters, and copywriting.
  2. Knowledge and experience of creation of online content such as blogs, corporate social media posts and website copy.
  3. Knowledge of creation of email campaigns.
  4. Highly flexible approach to working, with superb organisational and project management skills and a proven ability to handle pressurised situations.
  5. Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate initiative by taking personal ownership of projects.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Experience in B2B marketing, preferable in an industrial sector.
  2. Experience in events organisation including exhibitions, open days and seminars as well as online events and webinars.
  3. Experience in market research applied to the new product development process – market potential, competitor analysis, etc.
  4. Ideally any experience of using InDesign/Illustrator to provide back up support to Graphic Designer as and when required.

Please note this is a full time permanent position.
