Working Hours: Monday – Friday 35 hours per week 8:30am-16:30pm

General overview:

  • To provide hands-on support to the Marketing team in the delivery of marketing communications, campaigns, and events. This entry-level role is designed to build core skills across the marketing mix, offering opportunities to progress as experience, competence, and responsibility grow.

You will also be expected to:

  • Support the Marketing team in day-to-day tasks.
  • Assist with the creation, coordination, and delivery of marketing content and campaigns.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Occasional travel to exhibitions, events, or training may be required.
  • Post reports to the Marketing Manager
  • No direct reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the content creation and delivery of marketing campaigns, including email, social media, digital, and print, working in conjunction with the wider marketing team
  • Support the creation of marketing materials such as social posts, brochures, presentations, and website updates. Manage social media presence, website content and press releases
  • Assist in developing targeted email marketing campaigns to keep current customers, prospects, distributors, and agents informed of our product range and service offerings. Help maintain the company website and social media presence; monitor engagement and provide regular reports using tools such as Google Analytics
  • Collate market information and trend data, and undertake market research to deepen the understanding of market sectors in support of marketing strategy development and implementation
  • Assist with logistics, planning, and administration for trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Manage the business activity and content on selected external databases, directories and sales agents’ websites, ensuring that regular updates are made to optimise on-line communication
  • Liaise with design agencies, printers, and other suppliers to assist with production and delivery of marketing materials
  • Maintain marketing databases
  • Ensure all communications are consistent with agreed standards and design guidelines. Keep up to date with brand standards, logo, colour, and font usage to make sure we are compliant
  • Support internal communications by managing and updating the communication screens on a weekly basis

Core Competencies

  • Degree in a marketing related field such as marketing, design or film production or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of social media channels
  • Experience of working within an office environment
