Job description

VectorBuilder is a rapidly growing biotechnology company that has established itself as a global leader in a range of life sciences products and services, including vector cloning, virus packaging, library construction, stable cell line generation, Covid-19 research reagents, and GMP manufacturing of clinical grade plasmid DNA and viruses. VectorBuilder's revolutionary online vector design platform has become highly popular with researchers around the world for its rich functionalities and highly intuitive user interface.

VectorBuilder seeks a Marketing Associate who will play a key role in driving VectorBuilder’s brand presence, event success, and customer engagement across global markets. This role goes beyond coordination. You’ll help shape campaign strategies and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful brand initiatives. This position offers strong potential for career growth within a dynamic, global biotech leader.

Key Responsibilities
Event & Campaign Management:
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns and event strategies that strengthen VectorBuilder’s visibility in the biotech and life sciences sectors.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics for global events (scientific conferences, trade shows, sponsored symposia) with a focus on driving engagement and lead generation.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop messaging, creative assets, and experiences that reflect the brand’s innovation and leadership.
  • Coordinate PR activities, including drafting and distributing press releases, liaising with media contacts, and supporting thought leadership initiatives.
  • Assist in managing agency relationships or media partnerships to ensure consistent brand messaging and maximize exposure across key channels.
  • Track and report event ROI and performance metrics to inform future strategy.
Brand & Content Marketing:
  • Support the creation of on-brand marketing materials — from digital content and presentations to print collateral.
  • Collaborate on campaigns that communicate VectorBuilder’s solutions, technology leadership, and customer success stories.
  • Manage updates to marketing databases, CRM entries, and contact lists to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales, product management, and scientific teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business priorities and market opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas for digital marketing, PR, and social media campaigns that amplify our thought leadership in the biotech space.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, ideally in biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative and strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
