Job Description

This is a hybrid role with one day per week in the office (Canterbury).

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Assistant provides essential support to our marketing team, contributing to the promotion and delivery of our industry-leading events. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain practical experience in a fast-paced events environment, supporting various marketing activities such as social media content creation, website updates, email campaigns, and event materials preparation. You will collaborate closely with Marketing Executives and the team to ensure the success of our events and engagement within the Talent Acquisition community. This position is ideal for someone starting their career in events marketing and seeking to develop foundational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Management: Assisting with creating and scheduling content for social media channels, updating website content via CMS, and drafting marketing copy for emails, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials.
  • Campaign Support: Supporting email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation and scheduling, and coordinating promotional initiatives with sales and operations teams.
  • Event Support & Administration: Providing administrative support, managing databases, organising assets, and assisting with event logistics and on-site delivery.
  • Research & Reporting: Conducting market research and assisting with data compilation for reports on social media metrics and website analytics.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of marketing materials.
