Our sister company, UK Education Guide, is a recent addition to the MTM Consulting family, and offers bespoke mentorship and guidance to international families throughout the process of accessing a placement for their child in a top British school or university.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to be a part of our Marketing team, coordinating with the Director of Marketing, the MD of UK Education Guide and the wider team members for undertaking promotional activities.

Main Purpose: To support the UK Education Guide with marketing activities in line with the strategy and plans of UK Education Guide. The role will involve content creation, website updates, social media management, email marketing, and event coordination to promote UK Education Guide's services effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management

Updating and maintaining website content, including news articles, blogs, events, and resources (with support from our digital partner).

Ensure website content aligns with current marketing campaigns and SEO best practices.

Social Media Management

Development and management of social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Creating engaging and relevant posts for different audience segments.

Content Creation

Develop marketing content for blogs, case studies, and promotional materials.

Assist in creating digital assets such as graphics and visuals for campaigns.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.

Email Marketing

Create and distribute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional content.

Work with the CRM system (Active Campaign) to maintain and segment the email database.

Events Support

Assist in planning and executing marketing events, both virtual and in-person.

Event promotion through various marketing channels.

Attend events as required to capture content for social media and post-event reports.

General Support

Provide support to the wider marketing team as required.

Stay up to date with marketing trends and industry best practices to contribute fresh ideas to campaigns.

Skills & Experience:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in content creation, social media management, and email marketing.

Proficiency in using marketing tools such as CRM systems, social media schedulers, and email marketing platforms.

Basic knowledge of SEO and website management (WordPress experience is a plus).

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

A keen interest in international education and student recruitment is desirable.
