Job description

Our client is seeking a creative and driven individual looking to progress their career in marketing. As Marketing Assistant, you'll be a key contributor to the team, bringing new ideas and energy. Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing trends are essential in this role.

You will be working in a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to develop and progress your marketing career. Working closely with, and supported by, our Director of Marketing, you will be involved in a wide range of marketing initiatives.

We are looking for someone with previous marketing experience.

£26k - £28k plus superb benefits and potential for one day a week working from home after probation.

Duties include:

1. Video production, including filming and editing for promotional videos
2. Social media content and drafting updates for our social channels
3. Researching and creating content for our website
4. Designing promotional marketing materials, such as flyers and brochures
5. Designing client proposals, reports, presentations and pitch documents
6. Implementing digital marketing campaigns, including quarterly email newsletters
7. Co-ordinating events and webinars
8. Handling new client enquiries and updating the marketing CRM
9. Adding content and updates to the team Intranet platform

The Ideal Person For This Role Will:

1. Have studied a marketing or business-related qualification at A Level or above
2. Be a driven individual that can bring new creative marketing ideas
3. Be a quick learner, particularly with IT systems and software
4. Have excellent communication skills and telephone manner
5. Ensure accuracy in their work and attention to detail
6. Be able to work well as part of a team
7. Have good organisational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively

The following experience/skills would be an advantage, but are not mandatory:

1. Social media marketing experience
2. HTML/CSS coding knowledge
3. WordPress/Mailchimp experience
4. Filming or photography experience
5. Video editing experience
