Location: Market Harborough

Salary: A GBP 8 per hour

Vacancy Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week

What’s your role all about?

This role will be delivered from Treetops, our office in Market Harborough, and you'll be expected to come in most days.

The role of our Marketing Apprentice offers a broad range of marketing experiences to help inform your future career aspirations, while also making a genuine contribution to the smooth running of our business. Training will be provided to develop a good understanding of Rambutan and all elements involved in completing the qualification.

The Marketing Apprentice will complete a Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship.

What will you be doing day to day?
  • Posting to social media channels according to an agreed schedule and following social media guidelines to help raise Rambutan’s profile.
  • Creating engaging posts to ensure our social media looks professional.
  • Helping to keep our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database (ACT) up-to-date.
  • Contributing to business development by sending out email campaigns to generate new meetings.
  • Learning to use all relevant software, including ACT, Adobe, Buffer, WordPress, Survey Monkey, Canva, Mailchimp, alongside Microsoft Office.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in key campaigns and the design/distribution of our newsletter.
  • Updating our website to ensure accuracy and alignment with our brand.
  • Writing blogs.
  • Managing the updating, production, and distribution of marketing collateral.
  • Collecting and analyzing competitor and audience research.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Organizing and attending events such as conferences, webinars, and exhibitions.
  • Supporting team members where needed.
  • Proofreading and quality-checking internal and client documents.
  • Responding to queries via phone, email, and the website in Rambutan’s tone.
  • Bringing our values to life in every interaction.
  • Fostering a fun and supportive team environment, welcoming new members.
  • Maintaining total confidentiality of all client and company material.
Personal development

We encourage personal development, and the apprentice will be expected to develop skills such as:

  • Creating a LinkedIn profile and engaging in discussions and posts, aligned with Rambutan guidelines.
  • Identifying and developing skills like content storytelling and creative designing.
  • Studying for a Level 4 Marketing Apprenticeship.
  • Learning marketing best practices and models.
  • Seeking opportunities to learn from the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer.
