Job description

MARKETING AND PUBLICITY VOLUNTEER - PARKINSON'S UK

Salary: Out of pocket expenses re-imbursed

Our local groups provide friendship, support, and activities to people affected by Parkinson's - but only once people have found out about them. Put your marketing and communication skills to use to promote your local group.

Parkinson's UK has support groups across Northern Ireland providing friendship, support, activities, and social connection to local people affected by the condition. Our groups in Belfast, Ballymena, Omagh, and Newry are looking for help to reach out to local communities and spread the word about what they can offer.

If you have an interest in marketing and publicity, you can help build the profile of a support group in your area - connecting people with the support they need to live well with Parkinson's.

Put your skills to use, letting your creativity flow as you produce newsletters, get involved in social media, and more - to promote your local group.

This fun and flexible role can be done from home, and you'll be supported by Parkinson's UK staff and volunteers.

You will need to have approximately 2-3 hours per week to spare, be comfortable with using email and computer software, and have access to a computer. Out of pocket expenses will be re-imbursed.

As part of the recruitment, you will be asked to provide a reference for this role.

Location: Wellington Park Business Centre, 3 Wellington Park, Belfast, BT9 6DJ
