The Marketing and Events Assistant position is a term-time, part-time permanent role (3 days a week; 6 hours per day plus out-of-hours support as required).

Responsibilities
- Marketing & Communications
- Manage social media platforms - create, schedule, and monitor engaging content.
- Draft and distribute newsletters and regular communications to parents.
- Update website and CMS content; ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Copywriting, proofreading, and designing marketing materials (print & digital); liaise with designers and external agencies.
- Content Creation & Design
- Create visual and written content: blog posts, news updates, podcasts, short videos, and prospectus features.
- Use design tools - Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop - to develop materials and campaigns.
- Events & Admissions Support
- Assist in organising and running key events such as open days, alumnae functions, and ticketed school events like Carol Service and Speech Day using the school’s events platform.
- Support admissions marketing: information packs, mailings, enquiry follow-up, and event logistics.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and suppliers to procure and manage event assets.
- Maintain noticeboards and displays to ensure information is current, visually engaging, and aligned with school branding.
- Homework Club
- Supervise a small number of pupils attending the homework club.
- Oversee pupils signing in and out of the homework club.
- Reception Cover
- Answer telephones and provide reception cover when needed.
- Administrative Support
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
