Job description

We’re looking for a curious, creative, and versatile Marketing and Community Manager to join our team.

Claimer has reached Product Market Fit, with an 85% conversion rate from demo, and this is with outbound founder sales only, and no marketing effort.

Alongside the fact Claimer is the only real disruptor in our space, this means there’s enormous potential to scale Claimer’s presence quickly and efficiently.

As the first marketing hire, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the voice and growth of Claimer while driving community engagement and content marketing.

About Claimer

Claimer is the market-leading R&D tax relief platform in the UK, serving some of the largest professional service companies and R&D tax consultancies.

Having gained significant UK market share in just 18 months, the company plans to expand its product offering both within the UK and internationally.

The team is remote-first/hybrid, maintaining a tight-knit culture built on trust, enabling rapid movement without personnel drama or politics.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate with the CEO to execute a variety of marketing projects, growing the company's marketing efforts with initiatives that succeed.

We expect your capabilities and responsibilities to grow swiftly, leading to independent management of Claimer’s marketing functions.

Initial projects will vary in scope and include:

  • Content and social media: Planning, drafting, and posting engaging LinkedIn content, managing the weekly newsletter, collaborating with the product team on feature updates, and supporting new content initiatives with the CEO.
  • Community building and engagement: Organising promotional events, webinars, trade shows, and managing the 'Advisors Anonymous' Slack community.
  • Partnership development: Working with partners to establish referral mechanisms, maintaining relationships with vendors like Xero and QuickBooks.
Ideal Candidate

This role offers rapid growth, problem-solving opportunities, and a chance to influence an evolving company. You should be eager to take on diverse responsibilities with energy and enthusiasm.

  • Adaptability, proactive, resourceful: A scrappy problem-solver thriving in a fast-paced startup, capable of managing multiple priorities independently, applying the 80/20 rule.
  • Writing skills & attention to detail: Ability to create compelling, professional content (AI tools welcome), with quick issue detection and quality assurance.
  • Event organisation & community engagement: Experience in planning and executing virtual and physical events, passionate about building communities.

Join a passionate team in a fast-growing SaaS startup and make a significant impact. Expect autonomy, rapid learning, and exposure to various business aspects.

  • Competitive salary and share options
  • Remote-first or hybrid culture
  • Autonomy and responsibility
  • Powerful MacBook and necessary setup
  • Contributory pension
  • Monthly remote team lunches and quarterly in-person gatherings
