Marketing & Communications Officer

Working across three sites in Coleshill, Rugby & Stratford Upon Avon

Grade/Range MAT 6 (14-17) Hours per week 37 | Actual Salary £27,622 - £30,428 | Working Weeks 40 (term time + 10 days)

* Salaries are reduced for part-time, term time only working

Contract Type Permanent

Location Any Trust school (some flexibility to work from home)

Start Date As soon as possible thereafter

About us

Unity MAT is a small but ambitious Multi Academy Trust made up of three special schools within the Warwickshire area, these being Brooke School in Rugby, Welcombe Hills School in Stratford Upon Avon and Woodlands School in Coleshill.

Our central services functions, including Finance, HR, Site & Facilities and IT have been centralised to form the Trust’s Core Services Team. We believe that this enables us to provide high quality support services to all of our schools and beyond.

What we need

We are seeking a creative, proactive, and highly organised Marketing and Communications Officer to join our dynamic Core Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape, strengthen, and lead the strategic communication and branding efforts across our family of schools.

You will play a key role in developing our brand identity, raising our profile, and communicating the values, achievements, and ambitions of our Trust. From managing digital platforms to designing compelling content, you’ll ensure our messaging is consistent, engaging, and impactful across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver high-quality, on-brand publications, social media content, and promotional materials that reflect the Trust’s ethos and strategic priorities.
  • Lead the management of the Trust’s websites and social media platforms, ensuring content is current, engaging, and consistent.
  • Plan, support, and promote key events and campaigns across the Trust.
  • Collaborate with school leaders and staff to identify and communicate success stories, initiatives, and opportunities.
  • Support recruitment by designing attractive job adverts and promotional materials.
  • Uphold and embed our brand guidelines across all schools and communications.
  • Work as part of the Core Team alongside the Executive Leadership Team and Trust colleagues to help deliver our strategic objectives.
