A leading local government service in Worcestershire seeks a part-time Marketing and Communications Officer for a fixed term of 2 years. The role involves advising on communication strategies, engaging with the public and stakeholders, and promoting services. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to marketing.
Marketing and Communications Officer
Part Time - 30 hours to be worked over a 4 or 5 day week.
Salary - Grade 5 (SCP 14 - 19) £28,624 to £31,067 pro rata per annum

Worcestershire Regulatory Services (WRS) is theShared Environmental Health and Licensing Service for all six Worcestershire District Councils, hosted by Bromsgrove District Council.
WRS is based at Wyre Forest District Council offices in Kidderminster but operate across the county and for some service areas wider afield.As part of Bromsgrove District Council we are committed to being a customerdrivenorganisation, with our customers at the heart of everything we do; focused on improving on delivery services that make a difference to the community that we serve.
The Role
You will work across all WRS teams advising on specialist knowledge and expertise in both communications and marketing being proactive in providing expertise to teams on all aspects of the communications plan and beyond for Environmental Health and Licensing on behalf of all of the District Councils within Worcestershire.
We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic with a commitment to accuracy and creativity.You will need to be capable of working independently and have the confidence to use your ownjudgement and initiative whilst also working effectively as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.

You will be working both remotely and from our offices at Wyre Forest House, Kidderminster, DY11 7WF

Key Requirements
• To work with teams in WRS and collaboratively with all of the communications teams across the County.
• To be the lead contact for press releases, social media content, newsletters and promotional activity.
• Promote awareness of the service and the wide areas that are covered by the officers at WRS
• To be able to liaise with customers, partners and businesses and to have the ability to build connections and relationships with a wide variety of audiences.
• To represent WRS and our partner organisations ensuring a good standard of customer service at all times.
Skills & Experience
