About the role

Ecclesiastical Planning Services, part of Benefact Group, is seeking a Marketing Administrator to join our Gloucester office.

The Marketing Administrator will provide administrative support to the marketing team within an FCA regulated market.

This role offers variety within a small marketing team for a business administering pre-payment funeral plans. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist with daily marketing and office administration, including minute-taking, room bookings, mail merging, data cleaning, and issuing marketing content, ensuring excellent customer service within SLAs
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, funeral directing partners, key accounts, and third-party suppliers
  • Manage print processes
  • Organize artwork and approval of marketing materials, including placing orders
  • Oversee regulatory compliance processes, re-approval cycles, and handle marketing inquiries
  • Update CRM and maintain database cleanliness
  • Maintain work-in-progress lists
  • Support online purchase administration as needed
  • Assist with regulatory documentation and communication updates
  • Build internal relationships to support Ecclesiastical’s customer service standards
Knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong proofreading and attention to detail, with good command of English
  • Basic copywriting abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Organizational and prioritization skills
