The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing the successful implementation of integrated marketing campaigns. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a strong understanding of marketing principles. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction, achieve campaign objectives, and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
·Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and industry landscape.
·Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and provide strategic recommendations.
·Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
Campaign Strategy and Planning
·Develop strategic marketing plans aligned with clients' objectives and target audience.
·Collaborate with internal teams to develop integrated marketing campaign strategies and tactics.
·Conduct research and analysis to gain insights into clients' markets and competitors.
·Create comprehensive campaign briefs, ensuring clear direction for creative and execution teams.
Project Management
·Oversee the successful implementation of marketing campaigns, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
·Coordinate cross-functional teams (creative, digital, media, etc.) to deliver integrated campaigns.
·Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively resolve them.
·Conduct regular project status meetings, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
·Track campaign performance and analyse key metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
·Prepare regular client reports, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
·Conduct post-campaign reviews to identify learnings and areas for improvement.
·Present campaign results to clients, highlighting achievements and ROI.
Business Development
·Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
·Collaborate with the business development team in new client pitches and proposals.
·Stay updated on industry trends and emerging marketing technologies.
·Contribute to the development of case studies and thought leadership content.
Requirements
·5 years of proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role within an integrated marketing agency.
·Strong understanding of marketing principles and experience in developing marketing strategies.
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
·Strong project management and organisational abilities.
·Ability to build and maintain client relationships, demonstrating exceptional client service.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
·Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools.
·Analytical mindset and ability to derive actionable insights from data.
·Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Objectives
·Build strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and driving client satisfaction and retention.
·Successfully manage and execute integrated marketing campaigns, achieving client objectives and KPIs.
·Meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets for assigned client accounts.
·Continuously improve campaign performance through data-driven insights and optimisation strategies.
·Expand existing client accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
·Collaborate effectively with internal teams, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
·Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices.
·Contribute to the agency's growth and reputation by actively participating in new business initiatives and industry events.
