Job summary

Morrisons is hiring a Store Manager for Market Street who will lead craft teams, ensure high service standards, and maintain full stock levels to delight shoppers. You will drive daily operations with a hands-on, practical approach and foster a culture of care and accountability across the department.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll schedule shifts, coach teammates, and champion health and safety standards while collaborating with other store leaders.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll lead our Market Street craft teams with pride. You'll bring a "sleeves rolled up" attitude to make sure our counters are fully stocked, our foodmaker credentials shine, and our shoppers get the very best service.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Inspire your team to deliver outstanding service, listening to customer feedback and making sure Market Street is always vibrant and well-stocked.
• Lead and develop your team: Take real ownership of shift scheduling, training, and talent conversations, giving your colleagues the confidence to succeed and grow.
• Build a supportive culture: Work alongside other Managers to lead an encouraging, performance-driven department where people work with purpose.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage department budgets, and build strong relationships with other operating teams across the store.
