About The Role

Face to Face Social Market Research Interviewer – Mobile, with travel up to 30 miles

Have you ever wondered where statistics like “36% of Britons think the government should reduce income tax” come from?

As a Social Market Research Interviewer, you will be interviewing members of the public, mostly in their homes. You will be provided a device to ask for their opinions on a wide range of subjects, and record their responses. We work on behalf of clients from government bodies to public sector organisations. Your data will help improve public services, shape policies, and influence public opinion across the UK.

We recruit throughout the UK. If you are over 18, personable, confident, have a vehicle & a valid UK driving license, and want to earn money while impacting public policy, then this role is for you!

Pay rates:

• £15.12 per hour outside London, including holiday pay, plus a £500 joiner bonus and travel expenses.
• £18.15 per hour within M25, London, including holiday pay, plus a £500 joiner bonus and travel expenses.

You will speak to a variety of people daily. Building rapport and encouraging participation is key. Some assignments are local; others require travel up to 30 miles. Mileage is paid. You need access to a car, especially for roles in London.

We provide comprehensive, fully-paid training. Our team supports you in the field and remains available throughout your employment.

Additional Details

• Initially paid hourly; after probation, paid per successful interview with bonuses and incentives.
• Flexible hours, requiring at least 16-20 hours/week, mainly evenings and weekends.
• Engage with participants, make appointments, and offer incentives for participation.
• Travel up to 30 miles, with mileage paid. Access to a vehicle is essential.
