About The Role

We are seeking a Market Research Analyst to join our Custom Insights Team, where you will play a critical role in delivering investor-grade primary research. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering unique data, conducting structured research, and translating findings into actionable insights. You will be responsible for designing and executing surveys, conducting expert interviews, analyzing key market trends, and delivering high-quality research reports to our clients. Responsibilities

  • Design and Conduct Primary Research: Develop and implement surveys and structured interviews to gather data from industry experts and market participants
  • Data Analysis: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights relevant to client investment strategies
  • Report Generation: Create comprehensive research reports that effectively communicate findings, supported by data visualizations and clear narratives
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their research needs and tailor deliverables to meet specific investment objectives
  • Market Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, and emerging opportunities to inform research focus and methodologies
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of research findings through rigorous validation processes


Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus
  • Experience: Proven experience in market research, financial analysis, or investment research, preferably within the finance or investment sectors
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis techniques and statistical software; ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to conduct interviews with senior industry experts and build rapport to extract valuable insights
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment with a high degree of flexibility and autonomy
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is advantageous
