Systems & Solutions (SaS) is the domain within the Technology MP & FS CIO Division that develops, supports and maintains the data systems that are used across the Bank of England. Our core function is to analyse, design, develop and successfully deliver quality, robust business solutions. Job Description
We are seeking a Markit (S&P) EDM developer to join our MDM Product team. This is also a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to work with the business area who use the system on a day-to-day basis. We hope that combining your technical skills and developing business area knowledge will enhance change delivery.
Utilise your technical skills and expertise to play a key role in the team’s activities that include all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will work on multiple work-streams and be able to act independently, making decisions, applying analytical judgement and being an active member of the team.
We adopt a DevOps mind-set, and are responsible for the operation of the applications we deliver. Influence the testing and implementation of these components and provide post implementation support. Contribute to technical discussions, influence ways of working, share knowledge and provide technical mentorship to other team members.

Salary and Benefits Information
We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate.
This role offers a salary of:
Leeds from £36,000 - £40,500 (depending on skills & experience)
London from £40,000 -£45,000 (depending on skills & experience)
