Job Title: Customer & Market Insights Innovation Lead

Location: Reading - Awaiting confirmation on onsite requirements

Sector: Global Biotech

FTE: 3 days per week (may flex to 4/5 during busy periods if possible)

Role Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Customer & Market Insights Innovation Lead to join a leading global biotechnology company preparing for major product launches in the UK & Ireland.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team committed to addressing high unmet medical needs, including postnatal depression and Alzheimer’s disease.

The role combines analytical rigour, commercial strategy, and innovative thinking. It is ideal for someone who excels at translating complex data into strategic decisions and enjoys collaborating with senior stakeholders across functions.

You will act as a key partner to local launch teams, supporting market understanding, forecast performance, and strategic planning by:

1. Identifying, sourcing, and analyzing diverse datasets (traditional and emerging)
2. Generating actionable insights through advanced modeling and forecasting
3. Presenting clear narratives to support strategic business decisions
4. Collaborating with regional and global teams on performance tracking and reporting
5. Utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to communicate insights effectively

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences consulting
• Proven track record in forecasting, market analysis, or customer & market insights
• Advanced Excel modeling and Power BI (or similar tools) experience
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• A passion for innovation, curiosity, and proactive problem solving
