Job Title: Customer & Market Insights Innovation Lead

Location: Reading - Awaiting confirmation on onsite requirements

Sector: Global Biotech

FTE: 3 days per week (may flex to 4/5 during busy periods)

Role Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Customer & Market Insights Innovation Lead to join a leading global biotechnology company preparing for major product launches in the UK & Ireland.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to addressing high unmet medical needs, including postnatal depression and Alzheimer’s disease.

The role combines analytical rigour, commercial strategy, and innovative thinking, perfect for someone who excels at translating complex data into strategic decisions and enjoys cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders.

You will act as a key partner to local launch teams, driving market understanding, forecast performance, and strategic planning by:

1. Identifying, sourcing, and analysing diverse datasets (traditional and emerging)
2. Generating actionable insights through advanced modelling and forecasting
3. Presenting clear narratives to support strategic decisions
4. Collaborating with regional and global teams on performance tracking and reporting
5. Using data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) to communicate insights effectively

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences consulting
• Proven track record in forecasting, market analysis, or customer & market insights
• Proficiency in Excel modelling and Power BI (or similar visualization tools)
• Ability to confidently engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• A passion for innovation, curiosity, and proactive problem solving
