Joining us means becoming part of a market-leading team, with capabilities across the full spectrum of asset classes, with an enduring commitment to responsible investment and creating long-term, sustainable value for our clients and partners.

Job Description

Are you ready to lead strategic supplier management and make a significant impact on our asset management business? We are looking for a proactive Master Data Vendor Manager to join our innovative team. This role is key to delivering strategic supplier oversight and governance, ensuring compliance with our procurement policies, and enhancing our supplier relationships.

As an essential member of the team, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including the Chief Data Office, Operations, Compliance, IT, and other global business units. You will manage supplier performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure adherence to our supplier management framework. Engaging in strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders will also be a crucial part of your responsibilities.

If you are enthusiastic about contributing to high-visibility supplier management projects and leading the way in strategic supplier relationships, we would love to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:

  1. Leading strategic supplier relationship management
  2. Managing and leading commercial relationships with key suppliers to ensure contract compliance
  3. Supporting business teams in managing services and acting as an escalation point for material issues
  4. Ensuring supplier categorization and completion of due diligence activities
  5. Managing and maintaining contracts, including annual reviews
  6. Adhering to meeting governance structures and ensuring all meetings are documented
  7. Completing and maintaining exit strategies and plans
  8. Working with IT and Operational Resilience teams for annual due diligence reviews
Qualifications

Who we're looking for:
  1. Deep understanding of supplier relationship management, governance, compliance, and oversight
  2. Knowledge of market data vendors or similar
  3. Strong relationship management skills
  4. Strong commercial acumen
  5. Knowledge of investment/asset management outsourcers and suppliers
  6. Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Agile tools
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
  1. The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance-related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  2. Generous pension contribution
  3. Life assurance
  4. Private medical insurance (permanent employees only)
  5. At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years' service. There's also the option to buy and sell holiday
  6. Competitive family leave
  7. Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice
  8. There are the many discounts we offer - both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  9. In 2023, some of our workspaces were redesigned. Our offices are great spaces to connect and collaborate and have your wellbeing at the heart
