Job Description:

Our client, a global, multi-billion dollar AUM, multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking to make a new hire for the position of 'Market Data Specialist' within their global Data team.

Working as part of a lean team of leading professionals in the buy-side data space, you will report directly to the Global Head of Data. Your role involves collaborating with various global functions to manage and improve internal data infrastructure, data contract frameworks, and relationships with external stakeholders such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Refinitiv.

The role combines commercial responsibilities with hands-on data and vendor management tasks. You will manage market data vendors, oversee contracts (licensing, renewals, usage analysis), and facilitate onboarding of new partners. Additionally, you will contribute to major projects aimed at enhancing internal data usage, spend management, procurement processes, and integration of new tools for the team.
