Chain IQ is seeking a Market Data Contract Specialist to join our London team. You will review contracts, mitigate risk, and collaborate with legal, sourcing, and business stakeholders to ensure terms align with client policies and internal strategy.

The role emphasizes clear communication, detailed analysis of complex terms, and a proactive approach to escalation and knowledge sharing within ourglobal procurement platform.

• Interest or experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts
• Understanding of legal terms and how they apply in a business context

Responsibilities

• Offer specialized support on complex legal contract terms, risk mitigation, and compliance with internal and client policies and legal standards.
• Serve as the tertiary escalation point when Strategic, Tactical and Operational Sourcers encounter challenges in resolving contractual matters or require more in-depth legal expertise.
• Analyze contract drafts, suggest revisions, and ensure alignment with company and client standards and negotiation strategy.
• Work closely with legal, sourcing, and business stakeholders to ensure contracts are accurate, enforceable, and beneficial.
• Maintain records of escalated cases and contribute to contract negotiation playbooks or knowledge bases to support future sourcing efforts.
