About the Job

  • Organize and facilitate internal credit committees
  • Handle the post-credit committee process, including review of questions raised by credit committee members and drafting of credit committee minutes
  • Provide support in KPI reporting and communication
  • Provide support in MCR’s trainings and methodologies
  • Provide support in first level investment compliance checks and risk management
  • Update MCR internal tools for risk appraisal and monitoring
  • Provide support in the Watch List process, including updates of the MCR Risk Monitoring Tool, information requests to Markets Analysts, first level of analysis and overall support to the MCR team on operational tools
  • Provide support to team members in the management of workout cases
  • Prepare monthly reporting on risk and recovery trends and results

Your Qualification

  • We are looking for a dynamic person with an entrepreneurial drive, who is organized, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. More specifically, we have the following requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in a finance related field;
  • Strong interest in impact investments;
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel;
  • Knowledge of the microfinance industry is a strong asset;
  • Capacity to handle ongoing multiple tasks daily;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Ability to understand, adapt, and support clients’ needs;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in French and/or Spanish is highly valued;
  • Valid work permit for the location.
