Job description

About the Role:
We are seeking a Market Access Manager to join ALK-Abelló at a transformative time. This role will focus on securing patient access to our immunotherapy portfolio by managing NHS pathway redesigns, supporting NICE applications, and driving Market Access strategies across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the KAM team in implementing NHS funding and pathway redesigns.
  • Manage NHS allergy pathway redesign projects.
  • Drive and support the progression of NICE applications and formulary submissions.
  • Gather and provide Market Access intelligence at both national and local levels.
  • Develop and execute a dynamic Market Access plan to meet targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key NHS stakeholders and payors.
  • Monitor and report on Market Access progress to meet monthly milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with ABPI Code of Practice and company policies.
  • Deputise for the Director of Market Access & Sales as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of the NHS and UK healthcare systems.
  • Proven success in collaborating with the NHS to optimize patient and product pathways.
  • Strong understanding of NHS funding and the NICE process.
  • Established network of HCPs and commissioners.
  • Ability to meet Market Access and sales targets in a fast-changing environment.
  • Degree-level education (preferably science-related).
