Description

Your role will be pivotal in delivering cost savings back to the business by identifying inventory opportunities and savings, while also optimising markdown spend for stock clearance.

You will work as part of a central team collaborating cross-functionally with multiple business units and managing external relationships, such as with markdown solution provider Blue Yonder, to enhance tools and deliver commercial benefits.

The role involves delivering inventory optimisation to ensure profitable stock exit decisions, working with commercial and supply chain teams to resolve inventory issues, and creating governance reports for quick decision-making involving relevant stakeholders.

You will analyze and optimise promotional and event activities, and contribute to range change decisions and store-driven requests, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of operational processes related to range changes and promotional activities, with a solid grasp of commercial and supply chain principles.

Comfort with technical systems and large data sets is essential, along with proficiency in tools like Data bricks, Power BI, and Tableau. Attention to detail, effective communication, and collaborative skills are also required.
