Job summary

Elvis Eckardt Recruitment & Sales Solutions Limited is seeking a hands-on Field Engineer to join a leading SatCom and Maritime systems provider. You will install, maintain and repair navigation and communications equipment on vessels ranging from merchant ships to luxury yachts, often at sea or in port.

The role offers independent work with strong team support, extensive training from manufacturers, and exposure to retrofit and bridge integration projects across international ports.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine communications or field engineering preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work on vessels at various ports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VDR-APTs and GMDSS Radio Surveys.
• Install and maintain VSAT Satellite Broadband and Bridge systems.
• Mobile response for vessel repairs in UK and international ports.
