You are a top Marine Engineer with 15+ years of experience in the maritime industry. You are looking for a new and challenging opportunity to use your accumulated work experience in a unique and rewarding way.

Robson Forensic, a longstanding forensic expert firm with an excellent reputation in the legal and scientific community, is looking for a Marine Engineering Expert like you. We conduct investigations and provide professional reports and testimony to help resolve disputes and litigation matters in the maritime domain.

Our Maritime Team has investigated more than 500 cases as technical experts in both the commercial maritime industry as well as the recreational boating community. Our experts use their experience and skills to investigate marine incidents to determine causes and timelines. This work is challenging but also intellectually rewarding.

LOCATION:

FL, GA, PA, & TX

DESCRIPTION:

The work includes investigations related to casualties and incidents such as collisions, allisions, fires, explosions, personal injuries, industrial accidents, product failure, pollution, and waterways management. It covers the commercial maritime industry and recreational boating, including cargo, insurance, marine facilities, shipyards, marinas, charter operations, passenger vessels, vessel design and manufacture, rules and codes compliance, security, safety, and licensure.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • An Engineering degree from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) licensure is highly preferred.
  • USCG credential is required.
  • 15+ years of maritime experience with at least 10 years of hands-on work experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to travel approximately 20%.

Candidates must pass a drug, background, and reference check.
