Job summary

Boluda Towage Europe is seeking a Fleet Electrical Superintendent to support maintenance, reliability and safe operation of electrical systems across our fleet. Working with the Technical Manager, vessel crews and external contractors, you will coordinate electrical maintenance and repairs, provide technical support and help resolve operational issues.

This hands‑on role combines practical problem‑solving with planning and coordination to keep our vessels operating safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as ship’s electrician or EOOW or equivalent (essential).
• Experience in shipbuilding/ship repair industry.
• Thorough understanding of Diesel engines & propulsion systems control and monitoring systems.
• Competent IT skills with a good understanding of Excel.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of risk assessments, safe working practices, permit-to-work systems, and lock-out/tag-out processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring databases are up-to-date and maintained.
• Assist with docking specifications, reports and maintenance activities.
• Supervise electrical work and testing during surveys, dockings, and repairs; communicate with management on scope and cost.
