Qualifications
- Experience in marine or shipbuilding sectors is essential.
- Skilled in structural modelling and drafting of steel structures.
- Experience with lifting, transport and installation studies.
- Knowledge of marine classification society requirements is advantageous.
- Ability to produce detailed drawings and technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed structural models and engineering designs.
- Produce structural drawings, manufacturing information and documentation.
- Model marine structures including bulkheads, decks and shells.
- Perform shell modelling and structural detailing activities.
- Support production engineering and nesting activities.
- Carry out structural assessments and calculations for project needs.
- Contribute to lifting arrangements and installation methodologies.
- Assess load paths and temporary load cases during transport and installation.
- Liaise with production, fabrication and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical support.
