Job Description

Reporting to the Business Sector Manager, the Marine Services Project Manager is responsible for all aspects related to the delivery of marine services projects. This includes such matters as personnel management, planning of operations, customer contacts, finances, SHE-Q, reports, contacts with centralised support departments. The Marine Services Project Manager actively participates in the acquisition of new contracts by providing bid writing support. For more details, click the link.

Your Main Tasks:

  • Act as RSACT Contract Equipment and Platform Authority (EPA)
  • Ensure all operations are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with Company way of working (WoW) and client requirements
  • Promote the NINA behavioural safety programme
  • Proactively manage absence with support from HR and Occupational Health
  • Manages the operation within agreed budget and raises awareness of potential variance to budget
  • Responsible for liaison with the client to ensure that contract deliverables are met and customer satisfaction levels remain high
  • Responsible for ensuring that the RSACT Contract Management Plans are reviewed as required and any associated registers are kept up to date
  • Responsible for collecting and maintaining data to monitor actual performance against contracted performance and reporting these on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to the Company and where necessary the Client
  • Responsible for Service Delivery Risk Management
  • Responsible for maximising opportunities to increase revenue and decrease costs
  • Deputises for Business Sector Manager if required

Required Knowledge and Experience to make your mark as Marine Services Project Manager:

  • subject to UK security check (proof of UK residency)
  • Higher level academic qualification appropriate to the role
  • Knowledge of contractual and regulatory legislation relating to marine services contracts
  • Experience of working to agreed budgets
  • Experience of developing and reviewing management plans/registers
  • Experience of bid writing for marine services contracts
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and motivating a project team based on functional reporting to ensure contract deliverables are met in a timely manner
