Job summary

Manpower is seeking an experienced Rigger to support lifting and rigging operations on a major marine engineering and defence programme in Rosyth. You will carry out rigging duties, ensure work aligns with approved lift plans, and maintain safety and compliance on site.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, assisting crane operations, and coordinating with crane teams to ensure safe, efficient lifts in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card or equivalent site safety certification.
• Recognised Rigging Qualification.
• CPCS Slinger/Signaller is desirable.
• Safety Critical Medical is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out rigging and lifting duties in line with lift plans and risk assessments.
• Inspect lifting accessories and rigging equipment for fitness and certification.
• Safely attach and detach loads using appropriate rigging techniques.
• Support crane operations by preparing and guiding loads during lifts.
• Maintain high safety and compliance standards in a regulated environment.
• Work with lifting teams and crane operators to ensure safe operations.
