SYOS Aerospace in Fareham is seeking a proactive Production Planner to coordinate and optimise production schedules for vessel build, fit-out, commissioning and delivery. You’ll ensure materials, people and equipment are ready at the right times to meet programme deadlines.

You’ll collaborate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Stores, Commissioning and Sales, monitor progress, identify delays and implement recovery plans to keep production on track and on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and scheduling in manufacturing environments.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage production schedules and materials.
• Advanced Excel skills to analyse data, forecast and report.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain and coordinate detailed production schedules for vessel build, fit-out, commissioning and delivery.
• Plan production capacity across assembly, electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams.
• Track progress, identify risks and implement recovery plans to minimise disruption.
• Coordinate work orders and documentation with Procurement and Stores to ensure materials are available.
• Maintain WIP visibility and regular status updates to management.
• Coordinate internal teams and external resources for completion and handover.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote quality, safety and on-time delivery.
